Basic Information

MAC36 controllers have various types of 36 onboard inputs and outputs. Using the specific local I/O set of 16 UI, 8 AO, 4 DI, and 8 DO allows to employ the devices in different applications.

The iSMA IO module is dedicated to service, program, and maintain these local I/Os.

Please note that with the iSMA IO module, local IO points within the iSMA IO network in Niagara are not included in the global capacity points count.

Configuration

  • When using iC Workbench iSMA IO module is included by default.
  • When using iC Expansion Pack, modules will be copied to the correct location on your local PC
  • When using Nigara Legacy version MAC36 files installer will also copy the module to your local PC Niagara installation location
