SD Card

The licensing for both controllers is tied to the Host-ID of the SD Card, meaning the license is assigned based on the Host-ID.

It’s worth noting that MAC36NL can be easily identified by a Host-ID that starts with GC5-MACNL, while MAC36PRO can be recognized by a Host-ID starting with iC-MAC.

Also, keep in mind that the SD Card for the MAC36NL is different than the card for the MAC36PRO. So, the codes for the SD Cards are:

  • iSMA-B-SD-NL – for MAC36NL
  • iSMA-B-SD-PRO – for MAC36PRO

License Options

A key improvement with the MAC36PRO is its support for licenses up to 5000 integrated data points, significantly increasing from the 1250 data points limit of the MAC36NL. This enhancement allows for larger and more complex building management applications.
