Using an RS485/USB adapter and an appropriate PC software (ModbusTester in this case), it is possible to read/write values to/from the Touch Point.

  • First, configure communication parameters and COM port in the PC. 
  • Next, add an appropriate register’s address to write or read values. In this case, a temperature value has been read from the Touch Point.
  • Similarly, the LiveTime (dec 11) register has been read
  • Finally, the CO2 measurement value has been read from the register (dec 302).
