Power Supply

Power supply can be provided through screw terminals or RJ45 connectors, making it a suitable option for connecting the panel to controllers that provide both power and communication through RJ45, like RAC18IP.

Communication

The same screw terminal and RJ45 connectors are used for the serial communication through BACnet MS/TP or Modbus RTU

USB Connection

The USB port is used to communicate with product software, such as the iSMA Configurator for configuration and firmware updates. The USB port provides 5 V DC power supply.

DIP Switch

There is a 3-position DIP Switch located under the back cover of the device.

Each of three sections has a separate function:

  1. Used for restoring default settings
  2. Communication protocol selection: 0 – Modbus, 1 – BACnet
  3. RS485 Termination – 0 – no termination, 1 – termination added (120 Ω)
