What to know and how to get started with DemoKIT?

The DemoKIT is a compact set of iSMA CONTROLLI products designed for training and testing purposes. It comes pre-wired, licensed, and ready to use out of the box. It looks like this:

DemoKIT-SET-1 includes: 

• MAC36PRO with SD card and demo license 
• RAC18-IP 
• Touch Point 
• Travel case

Before you start

There are just few things you need to know in order to use your DemoKIT without any issues and as smoothly as possible:

1. There are 2 IP devices which are connected together: MAC36PRO and RAC18-IP. By default they have the same IP address which is: 192.168.1.123. Therefore, if you connect your PC to the RAC18-IP switch, you will not be able to see the devices as there is a IP addressing conflict.
   
   SOLUTION 1 – 1st option is that you can use USB-C of the RAC18-IP to connect to the controller and change it’s IP address. For the manual about the USB connection in the RAC18-IP you can go HERE.
   MAC36PRO also has an option for the USB connection. You can find more information HERE.

   SOLUTION 2: Disconnect devices from each other and connect directly to one of the devices (it can be either MAC36PRO or RAC18-IP). Then change it’s IP address so that they don’t clash with each other.
   
   
2. MAC36PRO comes in with the factory default settings. When powering up and connecting to it for the first time you need to perform the commissioning. You can check out our other e-learning which takes you through the process of doing so HERE.
